FR · Version françaiseBridal Boudoir Photographer in France — Your Ritual Before the Wedding Day
On the morning of your wedding, two people will receive these photos. Your future spouse. And yourself.
One session, two gifts
Bridal boudoir is not a "sexy photoshoot before the wedding". It is a ritual that addresses two people at once.
To your future spouse, first. On the morning of your wedding, you hand them an album. Inside, intimate images that only the two of you will ever know. No words. Just your gaze, your presence, your trust. It is one of the rare gifts that cannot be bought — it is chosen, built, and given.
To yourself, second. This session arrives at a particular moment: you are in the middle of preparing one of the most emotionally loaded events of your life. The dress, the guests, the vendors, the families' expectations. Among all of that, you need an hour and a half to come back to yourself. Bridal boudoir is that moment.
That is why this page exists — and why this session, in my practice, is neither an option nor a "nice extra" of the wedding. It is a complete experience in its own right.

A phototherapy ritual before your wedding
The phototherapy approach is something I developed to support women in reclaiming their image, their body, their gaze. Applied to bridal boudoir, it changes everything: we are not photographing a bride "posing", we are accompanying a woman preparing for a major commitment.
Preparing the body
Before the session, I propose a preliminary conversation — by phone, or at the studio if you are nearby. We talk about your relationship with your body, what you want to see and what you do not, what puts you at ease and what holds you back. It is not a medical consultation, it is a dialogue. The goal: that you arrive at the session already at ease, with no fear of the unknown.
Preparing the heart
Weddings crystallise many things: how you see yourself, the fear of disappointing, the pressure to "do it right". Bridal boudoir offers a shift: stepping out, for a moment, from the gaze of others to return to your own. You are not in front of the lens to show something to someone — you are there to truly see yourself, at a turning point in your life.
That is what distinguishes this approach from a classic boudoir session: here, the context gives meaning. The wedding is not a pretext, it is the heart of the matter.
The secret bridal album — the centrepiece
The secret album is what turns a beautiful session into a true wedding gift. Concretely: ten to twelve fine art printed pages, intimate format, delivered in a sealed package. No outside markings, no clue. You choose when to give it — the night before the wedding, the morning of, or a few days earlier for a more drawn-out surprise.
No image leaves the private gallery without your validation. What you choose to share is exactly what you give. Nothing else.
The album is included in the Serment package and available as an add-on for the Promesse package.

Bridal boudoir in images
A few images from the approach: high-key light, bridal lingerie, veil, lace. Photos that tell a moment, not poses. All my clients remain anonymous — those who appear here have given their explicit consent.

How your session unfolds
Before — the preliminary call and outfit guidance
Once your package is chosen, we connect by phone or at the studio. We talk about your project, your relationship with your image, your wishes, and what puts you at ease. I then send you a preparation guide: outfit advice (white lingerie, ivory, lace, veil, accessories such as the engagement ring, family jewellery, the bouquet), skincare and hair tips, posing suggestions if you want them.
During — direction and care
The session lasts an hour and a half. At the studio in Ruoms, or at your location depending on the package. I direct every pose, every framing, every expression — you do not need to know anything in advance. Most brides arrive intimidated and leave transformed. That is the effect of the phototherapy approach: the way you see yourself shifts during the session, not after.
After — selection, retouching, delivery
Within two to three weeks, you receive your secure private online gallery, accessible only to you. You select your favourites, I retouch them in fine art black and white (the signature of my bridal boudoir work). If you have chosen the secret album, I produce it in partnership with my fine art print lab and ship it to you in a sealed package.

When to book your bridal boudoir session
The ideal window is two to four months before the wedding. Why not the night before, or the morning of? Because on those days, you will be busy — hair, makeup, dress, family, logistics. Bridal boudoir requires a moment of calm, not a slot squeezed between fittings.
Booking ahead also leaves time to produce the secret album without urgency, and most importantly to fully benefit from the phototherapy approach: it is in the weeks following the session that the way you see yourself shifts. You arrive at the wedding not with extra photos, but with something extra inside.
If your wedding is less than two months away, write to me anyway. Depending on the package and availability, we can usually find a way.
Frequently asked questions
When should I book my bridal boudoir session?
Ideally 2 to 4 months before the wedding. Booking ahead lets you fully benefit from the phototherapy approach and gives time to produce the secret album without logistical urgency.
Do I need to be experienced in front of a camera?
Not at all. The preliminary conversation and the in-session direction guide you every step of the way. Most brides arrive intimidated and leave transformed — that is the intended effect.
What should I bring to the session?
Lingerie (white, lace, or whatever represents you), your veil if you have one, your wedding shoes if you wish, symbolic accessories (engagement ring, family jewellery, prepared bouquet). A complete guide is sent after booking.
Does the session take place at the studio or at home?
Both are available. The Promesse package takes place at the studio in Ruoms, Ardèche. The Serment package takes place at your home, hotel, or villa — anywhere in the South-East of France (Ardèche, Drôme, Gard, Vaucluse, Hérault, Bouches-du-Rhône). Beyond this zone, a custom quote can be made.
Is the secret album really secret?
Yes. Delivered in a sealed package, with no exterior markings. You choose when to give it — the night before, the morning of, or earlier. No image leaves the private gallery without your explicit validation.
We are getting married in France but live abroad — how does it work?
This is a frequent case. The session can take place during a pre-wedding visit (a few months before), or in the days leading up to the wedding once you have arrived. The album can be shipped to your home country or held at the venue for the morning of the wedding. We arrange logistics together based on your travel timeline.
