Honest, timeless images of your wedding day
Photographing a wedding means telling the story of a day that will never happen again. Since 2019, I've been documenting weddings across Ardèche, Drôme, Gard, Vaucluse and Hérault — turning every moment of your day into honest, timeless images.
My studio is in Ruoms, in the heart of southern Ardèche, but my work travels: I'm available for weddings at the region's emblematic venues, anywhere else in France, or abroad for destination weddings.
My approach is simple — to be present without intruding, to capture genuine emotion without over-directing, and to deliver a complete visual story from the morning's first glance to the night's last dance.

A Documentary Approach to Wedding Photography
The image you'll remember from your wedding is rarely the one we posed. It's your best friend laughing during the speech, your grandmother's hand on your shoulder, the look you exchange just before the ceremony. My job is to be ready for those seconds.
I shoot with a Nikon Z9 — a silent camera that lets me disappear during the most important moments. Alongside the spontaneous reportage, I include a brief but considered couple session in natural light, usually at the end of the day to take advantage of the soft glow that defines the southern French landscape.
Before your wedding, I always meet the couple — by video call if you live far away, over coffee at the Ruoms studio if you're local. This conversation helps me understand your relationship, anticipate the day's flow, and arrive on the wedding day already knowing who I'll photograph and why.

Five territories, five atmospheres of wedding
From the rocky south of Ardèche to the Cévenol farmhouses of Gard, from the Lubéron of Provence to the Camargue spirit of Hérault, each territory stamps its light and rhythm on a wedding day. Here are the five atmospheres I photograph.
Ardèche
Warm late-afternoon light on limestone, olive trees, gorges, the medieval village of Montréal, Domaine des Ranchisses and La Fabrique de Jaujac. My home territory — no travel fees.
→ Wedding photographer in ArdècheDrôme provençale
Lavender fields of Grignan, terraced hillsides of Nyons, filtered light through olive groves, a clean and southern European feel.
→ Wedding photographer in Drôme provençaleGard
Golden limestone of Uzès, garrigue, plane trees, Cévenol ironwork, Pont du Gard, restored farmhouses.
→ Wedding photographer in GardHérault
Lakeside and salt flats, Mediterranean garrigue, Pic Saint-Loup vineyards, Camargue spirit.
→ Wedding photographer in HéraultVaucluse
Lubéron, hilltop villages, ochres of Roussillon, olive groves of Ménerbes, golden Provençal light.
→ Wedding photographer in VaucluseA Typical Wedding Day Timeline
To give you a concrete sense of what a day with me looks like, here's a typical timeline for a Signature wedding (8 hours).

Arrival at the bride's location
Makeup, last preparations, the breath before the dress. Details of bouquet, rings, perfume.

Groom's preparation
When timing allows, I drop by the groom's location. Boutonnière, tie adjustments, knowing glances with the witnesses.

Civil ceremony
I photograph from the back of the room, no flash, silent shutter, never breaking the emotion.

Cocktail hour
The most relaxed moment of the day for documentary work: portraits, embraces, laughter, first drinks.

Couple session
30 minutes in natural light, at a location agreed upon in advance. More of a walk than a posed session.

Reception and speeches
I stay through the first dance to capture the emotion of speeches and the opening of the dance floor.
This is an indicative outline — every wedding has its own rhythm, and I adapt to yours.

« We hired Yann for our Wedding in the South in June 2026 - and could not have wished for better ! He was with us for 2 days, in 2 separate locations, and worked amazingly with us, our families and other vendors around the wedding. His approach was friendly, reactive, and made both my wife and myself very quickly feel at ease . We are not used to photography and were a bit camera shy, but Yann knew just how to make us shine and guide us through poses, views and emotions. A few weeks later, our pictures are amazing ! Thank you Yann for everything. Your time, flexibility, understanding and passion were greatly appreciated! Highly recommended if you are getting married in the south ! »

« We would not only recommend Yann to anyone in the Ardèche area, but to anyone in France! Yann did photography for my wedding back in 2022. Being a English couple who spoke little to no French, it was a very nervous time when it came to finding a photographer to capture our special day. Luckily enough, we discovered Yann. Who helped make the day perfect, and has allowed us to relive the moment every day since. Then most recently, we revisited the area with our daughter who just turned one. And Yann helped us in doing a family shoot. Yann was very patient with her, and even though she wasn't the best model, he managed to get some excellent photos. Thanks again Yann for everything you've done for us! »

« A big thank you to Yann for the great service. It was a real pleasure having him at our wedding. We wanted something intimate that wouldn't disturb the natural and peace of the wedding and missions accomplished ! We are very very excited to see the pictures but the first sample we saw was already amazing. We also appreciate his availability as the wedding was for two days and had to switch slightly hours at the last minute but recommend highly ! »

How many photos will I receive?
Between 300 and 500 for the Essentielle package, 500 and 800 for Signature, 700 and 1,000 for Éternelle. All are retouched (color, contrast, tonal balance). I never deliver raw, unedited files.
When will I receive my photos?
The complete gallery is delivered within 6 weeks of your wedding date. I send a small selection of teasers in the days following the ceremony.
Do you travel outside Ardèche?
Yes. I regularly cover Drôme, Gard, Vaucluse and Hérault without significant additional fees. I'm also available throughout France and abroad for destination weddings, with travel costs adjusted to the project.
Do you also film?
No, I photograph exclusively. I work in close partnership with several videographers in the region whom I can recommend.
How does booking work?
A 50% deposit is required upon signing the contract to secure your date. The balance is paid one week before the ceremony. I always propose an introductory call before any commitment.
