Family Photographer in Ardèche

Family vacation photoshoots in the heart of southern France.

You've rented a villa, a mas or a gîte in Ardèche. The grandparents have flown in from London or Amsterdam, the cousins arrive on Saturday, and for one short week — the whole tribe is finally under the same roof.

I'm a French photographer based in Ruoms, in southern Ardèche, and I work with travelling families across the south of France. My approach is calm and patient: I let children play, I let grown-ups talk, and I photograph the in-between moments that don't make it to your phone.

Sessions take place at your rental home, in the Ardèche gorges, in the vineyards or at the Ruoms studio when the weather doesn't play along. Pets, grandparents and rowdy kids all welcome.

Practical questions

Frequently asked questions

Do you speak English?

Yes. English is not my native language, but I work regularly with families from the UK, the US, the Netherlands and Germany. Booking, the session and the gallery delivery all happen in English.

Are sessions child-friendly?

Absolutely. I let kids be kids — I follow more than I direct. Sessions are paced so children don't get bored or overheated, and I always plan for a quiet activity between portraits.

Are pets allowed in the session?

Yes, the family dog is welcome. Just let me know in advance so I can plan the location and timing accordingly.

Can you come to our vacation rental?

Yes. I cover the whole of Ardèche, Drôme, Gard, Vaucluse and Hérault. Travel is included within a 50 km radius of the Ruoms studio; a small fee may apply beyond that.

How far in advance should we book?

3 to 6 weeks ahead is ideal, especially during July and August. For peak summer weeks, the earlier the better.

When will we receive our photos?

Within 3 to 4 weeks of the session. You receive a private online gallery with high-resolution downloads and the option to order prints from the studio.
